140th post
today is the last day of the september 2008 holidays.
im gonna miss it. aww.
went out with family today(with my two sisters getting off the car at plaza sing).
so im left with my parents and they brought me to suntec to see the food fair.
i hate going to suntec's food fairs because it's choking-ly smelly and smoky.
just cant stand that. but it was alright soon.
the first thing my parents did when we stepped into the hall was to eat.
eat breakfast.
i went half a round around the hall and i found a sign saying 'TAKOYAKI'.
i wanted to buy but i think i got kok-eye and i didn't see any.
so i went to buy nasi lemak instead-.-
average standard i would say.
and i got a free otah that came with the nasi lemak i bought.
then my parents were already at the table eating satay.
when i was finishing my nasi lemak, my papa went to buy drinks.
and wth i was waiting for so long for him and in the end he bought some jap food with cabbage, egg and i don't know, flour?
then my mama went off to buy drinks.
and this time she really came back with one.
it was jasmine-greentea-TEA and it was chilled.
man it tasted sour at first, sweet next, and finally bitter.
sour-sweet-bitter, just like those mixed feelings i was having at that time.
i don't know whether to wow at its sourness,
or lick my lips at it sweetness,
or stick out my tongue at its bitterness.
so i decided to wow first, stick out my tongue next and licked my lips last.
omg so stupid.
i wouldn't drink it if not for that raging spiciness up in my tongue after eating the chilli provided in the nasi lemak.
so i concluded that the drink was HOLYshit.
we finally got out of that food fair after walking and looking at the stalls in the hall.
and of course not to miss out the free sampling of food.
we headed down the escalator and my mama's sharp eyes caught a sight of the board at a corner, stating: 'GREAT SALE, 90% OFF'
so i followed my parents into that small room of offered stuff.
as expected: clothes, shoes and wallets.
wasn't into such discount-ty thing. they looked so opiang.
and worst of all. 90% of the customers in there were CHINA CHINESE.
wow.. 90% offer meant for those china people.
do you see a link in the 90%?
lmao.
all i heard were people speaking with strong china accent and china dialects.
hate it.
i wanted to get out of that place desperately, but my mama wanted to see more.
what's MORE can she see?
one glance around that BIG room and you would see everything.
and luckily she did not buy any shirt from there.
as i said, the things there all looked so opiang.
finally out of that place.
we went to window-shop marina square and ate at killiney sth.
the word 'killiney' reminds me of my primary school friend.
because he teased me by calling my 'killiney an' instead of 'kee an'.
brilliant, isn't it? lol.
ah nvm. the lemon tea there wasn't very nice to drink.
it's like red tea + lemons.
and how stingy. they only gave me two thin thin slices of lemon.
but i manually squeezed the juice out and drank.
much better ;)
my mama still scared that i would accidentally suck the lemon seed up through the straw.
haha.
my parents just came back.
lol they went to watch movie just now.
not dating. because my mama won a pair of tickets.
haha.
they won't be so loving enough to go for a date.
hmm maybe they would, if im in school.
heh.
