NHNCC[B] ROD '09

Time really flies, and yesterday we handed over our respective roles to the Part Cs. It was after the ROD that I felt a bit reluctant to leave NCC. After all I have spent more than 3 years in NCC and now that I have to leave, it's kind of weird, 犹如打翻了五味瓶 :/

We started off with the concert in Comp Lab 1. The concert was quite good in the starting, but when it came to Liyu's turn to sing, it really destroyed the joyous mood completely. He sang 背叛 with Funchung and he kept going out of tune or not able to sing a high note. Wa I really got a headache because of this. Then the rest of the concert wasn't very interesting except for Gary's. Haha.

Then the Part Ds were told to go to behind classroom block and the seniors came to pump us. Lolol they just pumped us for fun because they said that it was what NCC tradition. We were taught some super vulgar vulgarities to say during ROD parade, and there's this weird but funny 'dance' to go along with the string of vulgarities.

After that we had 'buffet' and the originally crispy chicken and other food became abit soggy, but still edible la haha. I had quite a fill just by eating those fried food and Bernard's unwanted fries. Lol.

ROD parade started and the Part Ds got everything ready. After speeches and blahblah, they started giving out plaques to us(one of the emcees pronounced plagues LOLOL). Quite cocked up lah but anyway it's our last parade so it's shouldn't be a problem even if it's not done well.

AND WTH, I GOT A 2ND SGT PLAQUE WHEN MY ACTUAL RANK WAS A 1ST SGT!

But nevermind lah, they can't do anything with this problem anyway. Then we really said those vulgarities when dismissed but I couldn't memorise the vulgarities so I just opened and closed my mouth. After 'dancing' and shouting, we threw our berets up in the air and ran to the canteen. Surprisingly, Mr Liu didn't scold us or something. Instead, he laughed. Haha.
