Nothing exciting today, except for Chemistry SPA hahaha very fun. The experiments were quite boring but Chonghan and I kind of spiced up our lives.
First was about lighting up the bunsen burner: I always fail to light up the bunsen burner so I asked Chonghan to light it up instead while I opened the gas tap. I opened already but Chonghan didn't seem to be able to light up so I panicked then suddenly he managed to light it up, but I closed the gas tap-.-
Next was the limewater. I put the delivery tube into a testtube of limewater then I tried to stick the stopper into the sodium carbonate testtube. But in the process of doing it, I clumsily poured the limewater onto my worksheet then I was like WTH?!
After I wiped my worksheet with the cloth then Jesse Lim came and said that 'Kee An ah, I know what you are doing ah.' with her 超级重的鼻音. Chonghan and I didn't understand what she was saying haha.
Then when we were heating the sodium carbonate, Jesse Lim told us to stop heating and wash up. Out of curiosity, I poured a little dilute sulfuric acid into the testtube of sodium carbonate. As you know, sodium is super reactive. Once I poured into the testtube, I observed effervescence then the testtube is like HOT!
The acid did not react well with lead carbonate, needless to say, copper carbonate.
After school when I bade farewell to the usual peeps then I took the red line home and LRT with Liyu, and I got some super juicy news hehhehheh. Veli the inter-lers-tin' one.
