FINE DINING @ THE INDULGE RESTAURANT
I shall skip talking about what happened during lesson time today because about half of the day I was in a semi-sleep mode LOL. The semi-sleep mode was passed on to Adriel in the second half of the day hahaha.
We were dismissed at 2.15pm today and boarded the comfy bus. Talked alot with Adriel in the bus and occasional gossips about people LOL. It's really noisy in the bus, with huge masses around us-.- And I just realised that Yiyang had ear studs in both his ears lol.
Finally, we reached The Cathay at Orchard and I think there's a man who led the way to the restaurant. Well, I kind of expected the restaurant would be quite small, like maybe the size of my house, BUT IT APPEARED SMALLER THEN MY HOUSE like lololol. When the 42 of us occupied the seats in the restaurant, there were only like 6 vacant seats left-.- So you can imagine how small the 'restaurant' was.
So we were told by the man(who was called Shawn, Shaun, Sean or Shorn, whatever I just call him S here) and Mrs Chang to walk into the restaurant in pairs. Then Eunice kept telling me that she didn't want to pair with Adriel(probably because she thought that Adriel was fierce?) and wanted me to tell Adriel that. But you know it's damn hard to open my mouth and tell Adriel, I didn't know why. In the end Jiayi bravely stood out and just told Adriel that Eunice didn't want to pair up with him, but Eunice didn't ask Jiayi to do so LOL. By the way, Adriel, Eunice, Meiling and I were in the same group so we could choose who we want to partner. Then Eunice was damn afraid that Adriel would be angry or emo and she was very apologetic to him.
Then the boys were told by S to lead the way while the girl walks behind. So I did the same and pulled out the chair for Eunice to sit HAHA, damn act gentleman lah. So I was in the same table as Honghan, Beonnan, Xinyuan and Yieqin, obviously Eunice was sitting in opposite me, but Adriel went to sit far from me because there wasn't any seat left for Adriel and Meiling.
The drink provided was blue in colour. I thought it was some kind of blue coral drink but it turned out to be a little gassy + sour-.- Not bad lah actually. S started telling us the steps and procedures to follow like the guys have to pace with the girls; cannot eat faster than girls; when girls stand up to go to the toilet, the guys have to stand and wait till the girls disappear then we can sit down; stand again when the guys see the girls coming back and can only sit after the girls sit; how the cutlery should be placed on the bowls and plates.......... Ya quite alot of them.
The starter dish was A FEW PIECES OF RAW VEGGIES ADDED WITH A SAUCE LIKE VINEGAR WITH SESAME LOL. It wasn't very delicious actually... What joy can you find just by eating a few pieces of sour veggies?
Next was the soup. Eunice said that the soup was canned soup, something like Campbell soup because there was a smell when the waiter served the soup. I think the soup wasn't very bad, after all I like drinking such soups hahaha. And when drinking soup, we had to scoop outwards using the spoon, quite weird eh. And before the guys start drinking, the girls have to take a small sip and look at the guys. Then the guys have to ask 'Do you need any pepper?' and if the girls need it, the guys have to take the pepper for the girl. So troublesome right? It's only after that then the guys can start drinking the soup.
Then S went around talking talking and talking while the few of us at the table were joking around and sometimes gl-ing Beonnan HAHA. It's damn fun sitting with them. Suddenly S randomly and looked at us like he had never seen us before at the start of the meal. Then he put his hand on my shoulder and said that I'm quite goodlooking and got potential so I was like WHAT? It's damn paiseh you know, he just said that in front of everyone so I was so embarrassed that I just looked at the table with my head down. He commented that our class had quite a few goodlooking guys and girls compared to other classes. But then after that I was thinking, if he said he was here to take over Coach Luke, how is it possible that he met other classes? Haha okay nevermind don't care already.
The main course was chicken chop + half a mini tomato + XIAO BAI CAI as the veggie + baked/roasted potato rofl xiao si wo le. Isn't xiao bai cai a veggie that is commonly used for cooking chinese dishes? Why will xiao bai cai be found in a western dish? LOL. Then Honghan, Yieqin and Beonnan gave me their tomatoes and veggies. I forgot if Xinyuan or Eunice had given me any. Then my plate was full of veggies and tomatoes lolol. It was hard to eat the veggies 'demurely' using fork and knife because the veggies were loooooong and I had to suck the rest of the veggie that was hanging halfway in the air outside my mouth HAHA. So it's quite unglam to suck up the veggie at a restaurant. I'm fine to do it if I were in a hawker centre. It's hard to pace with Eunice because she was eating damn damn damn slowly. When I finished my heap of veggies, Eunice was still not at half of her chicken chop yet. When we finally had one piece of potato left, I 恨不得 stuff that potato into my mouth because Eunice was damn slow. Finally she put her piece into her mouth and within split seconds, my potato was also in my mouth LOL.
The last course was dessert, vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam/sauce/wdv. HAHA then something very funny happened to Honghan because he couldn't eat ice cream. So the girls and Beonnan began gl-ing him with Cheukyiu until his face damn red *'o'* LOL. But in the end he still finished the ice cream so that he wouldn't be gl-ed by them anymore. He sick then still eat, later his condition worsen.
After we left the restaurant, we took a class photo outside the restaurant. While waiting for the rest, Adriel and I chatted with Liying and Kuaiwen. LOL in the end I became their Lao Ba and Adriel became their Lao Ma(initially he was their Lao Ba while I had no status) because they read an article in the Reader's Digest saying that women usually have a higher percentage of body fats(referring to Adriel) and I'm also taller than him, so he should be Lao Ma and I'm the Lao Ba LOL.
We bade S goodbye and boarded the bus. We started discussing about the pros and cons of going to JC or Poly after O levels, or rather debating. When we reached school, I didn't know why Adriel just chionged to alight while I was only getting out of my seat. So weird. I took the lift with some girls but Adriel insisted to be a guai kia and climbed the stairs instead. I took the lift because I was damn urgent and afraid that my bladder would burst any time and flood the whole school.
Then I got home with in my father's car and poof, I just slept after dinner because I was dead-beat after a whole day of activities. Good news is, I HAVE NO TUITION TOMORROW :D which means I can fully make use of the time to do homework and revise for that boring common class test D: Okay then I shall end here, ttynt.
