Gahh I'm rotting ttm at home now. I really have nothing to do. I finish watching the kdrama, sick of maple and bored of books/newspapers. So now, I'm rotting in front my tablet and blogging. I think I've become a classic 宅男 already, but at least I was thinking whether to go for a jog later. Nehpok, but I'm simply too lazy to do so.
The job agency called me during noon time and I was anticipating a good job offer. Well, it was a good one, but the company wanted to recruit students who can work for 3 months. So I rejected the offer. It was an administrative work for $7/hr at Tanjong Pagar, which is quite far from my home and has to work overtime frequently. I felt damn bored after hanging up D:
Just now I was also watching 2012. The movie was rather interesting, but the computer effects were quite fake. I know those stuff are created from computer programmes, but can't they just make it more realistic? And one of the funny things is that the male lead's family survived the ordeal, a very typical storyline. I think I will enjoy this movie in a theatre, instead of at home where there isn't good sound system and the subtitles were screwed up.
While I was watching 2012, my mother was telling me that she heard from the radio that Sentosa and low-lying areas of Singapore will be covered with water 50 years later. See this?
50 YEARS LATER!
That means I will be 66 years old? ROFL I think I will be too old to escape from nature's wrath. Then my mother said 'Heng ah, 到时候我已经作古(means not in this world)了'. LOL. So that means the current generation and the next generation, or even the next next generation will suffer from this. At most I migrate to some other places like... I don't know lol, just some where safe from flooding.
I think the Singapore government will be trying its best to earn as much money as possible in the following 40 plus years from Sentosa and that whatever theme park which is currently under construction. Maybe the government should reclaim land to increase the height of the islands so that they will not be flooded 50 years later. Okay I'm speaking rubbish now LOL because I don't know what's the current situation is like.
40 years later, the glaciers at the Himalayas will all be gone. I don't know where I get this information from(probably in my dreams ROFL). Aiyah anyway, the main idea is about the rise in the sea level and increase in global temperature. And more and more occurence of El Nino, whatever. All these things isn't caused by the current generation. And we have to face all these bullshit consequences caused by our ancestors. But without our ancestors, the civilisation wouldn't be as 'advanced' as we are now.
There is a reason as to why I put inverted commas beside 'advanced'. I realised that when I watch those kind of Hongkong dramas which settings are back in the 60s or 70s, they will say that their technology is VERY ADVANCED. Then I will start laughing when I see this and I start thinking about our current ADVANCED technology. We will think that our current technology will be deemed as out-dated in future, just like how we laugh at those old rickety cars 'HAHAHA THAT LAO POK CAR SO OLD!' when it's already very seh4 bin3 to have a car in the past!
Lala I think I've typed too much crap already, because I'M SIMPLY TOO BORED! I can't wait for the guitar to arrive so that at least I have something to do, instead of rotting in front of the tablet. Okay I shall continue to rot already, byebye.
