I really liked that styrofoam sticker :D I was kind of irritated when I looked at the side of the envelope. And when I opened the envolope, I was even more irritated. It's not Huixin's fault, IT'S THE POSTMAN'S FAULT!
THANKYOU POSTMAN was what Huixin wrote, but this was what the postman did:
Man, I was super irritated by this. It almost ruined the beautiful cover and sticker of the whole thing la, and the candy was crushed into five segments. Aye but nevermind, I guess the postman had no choice but to do this because there was something in the envelope which the postman might suspect as something which is dangerous or illegal, like drugs. So he had to cut open the side of the envelope to see the contents. BUT THE CANDY WAS CRUSHED! And the sticker suffered from superficial injuries but couldn't recover lol.
Anyway really thanks a lot, Huixin :D
And I want to thank Wenya too, for staying up so late at night to talk to me, through sms LOL. Yeah it's really a coincidence that we share similar experiences and we kind of hate it. However, our thoughts differed. Wenya's was probably more matured than mine, but our situations are a little different though. I don't want to elaborate into it in the blog because it's something very very personal HEHEHE DON'T TELL YOU.
Lol anyway it's something not worth to be kaypoh-ed about.
People used to say that teenagers will treat friends more importantly than their family members, and I finally understood what they meant. I really want to go out for the 2010 Countdown party with my friends but my mother insisted on me going to my uncle's house to celebrate. Sorry to say this, Geraldine if you read this, but I really think that since this might be the last year that my good friends and I can celebrate together while my relatives and I can always celebrate EVERY year, why can't I go to celebrate with my friends JUST for one year? I tried to put myself in my mother's shoes and think why she doesn't allow me to go countdown with my friends, but I couldn't think of any. She should put herself in my shoes instead. I remembered her telling me last night that she's afraid of us(or rather me) getting beaten up by gangsters who might be lurking around the area and drunk.
WELL WE ARE NOT GOING TO A PUB OR SOMETHING.
We are just simply celebrating together as friends and not provoking any potentially dangerous strangers. After some consideration, my mother allowed me out from 10pm to 12mn which was like WTH?! Okay you might think that 'At least your mother allowed you out ma, 好过没有', but obviously I'm not satisfied. It's just a short 2hours(including transportation) and she expects me to do what? Every year the countdown event at my Uncle's house is almost the same, and it's kind of getting more and more boring every year because all of us are growing up and maturing. It's not like we are still kids and are able to be amused so easily. We might be smiling, but you'll never know if it's a genuine one. Perhaps it's just a smile plastered on my face just to 敷衍罢了. LOL BALIAO.
Aye actually I rant so much here also no use. It's not like my mother is very IT-savvy and knows how to bloghop. She doesn't even know how to use a mouse anyway LOL. I shall talk to her someday about this again and I'll debate(or argue) with her! I MUST WIN! Hiaks. There's no such thing as negotiation when it comes to this kind of thing lolol.
Ohya I went for a Hepatitis B vaccine jab just now and it cost $26-.- So expensive. In case you don't know what Hepatitis B is, here's a short description of it:
Hepatitis B is a disease caused by hepatitis B virus (HBV) which infects the liver of hominoidae(apes), including humans, and causes an inflammation called hepatitis. The acute illness causes liver inflammation, vomiting, jaundice and—rarely—death. Chronic hepatitis B may eventually cause liver cirrhosis and liver cancer—a fatal disease with very poor response to current chemotherapy. The infection is preventable by vaccination. (taken from Wikipedia)Since the blood test showed that the the HBs Antigen in my body is non-reactive and Anti-Hbs is negative, I had to go for a jab. It also stated in the letter that I wasn't immune against Hep B! Lol I'm fine now.
Tomorrow!
