The strike over says it all. I'M GOING TO ACJC! Hopefully I'll be able to get into ACJC or else I will emo like siaow and try my very very best to appeal into ACJC.
Today I went to 4 JCs' open house, which is stated above. I went with Honghan, Cheryl, Huixin and Wenya. Our first stop was AJC, so we went to Yio Chu Kang and anyhow walked till we reached the main entrance. The first impression is very important, regardless of people, objects, and of course, schools. The exterior of AJC gave me a bored feeling like 'Oh it's gonna be boring~'. The interior of AJC was worse. The buildings looked old or rather ancient, as described by Wenya. Some of the staircases weren't even made of concrete! They were just like some metal stuff then it goes DANG DANG DANG when we went up or down. Some really zi-high JC2 students kept asking us to play squash then the girls were quite sian. Actually I felt perfectly alright to go try it out, but since the girls and Honghan kind of escaped from the scene, I thought that I might just follow suit. Then one girl suddenly pulled my bag and asked me to go play LOLS. So paiseh la, but anyway we managed to escape from their clutches. I concluded that this school is OUT.
Next, we went to SAJC. I took the train to TPY and took a bus there. After alighting, we had no idea where to go. So we just followed two guys whom we thought that might be going to SAJC too. In the end we had to walk across the whole stretch of grassy field, and Wenya had spots of mud splashed onto the back of her legs HAHA. Okay then we finally reached the main entrance. We can already feel the light-mooded atmosphere when we walked along the path where the various CCAs set up their booths. It's really really different from AJC that lao kok kok school. Everything looked very fresh and I see already also very happy. Then we met some of the Nanhua seniors and they all seemed happy to be in SAJC. We toured around the school and I really liked it. The students there were also quite friendly and talkative, so it made the school look more... friendly and study-able? lols.
After that we went back to TPY to have our lunch before setting off to ACJC. I wasn't feeling well after eating, probably my bowl of noodles was spiked :O lols just kidding. Hmm then we took the train to Buona Vista and walked to ACJC. This time, we had a tour guide and she took us around the school. I don't know if it's the time or the lousy weather, but it seemed that ACJC was more sian than SAJC. But anyway we met NCC senior Weiming along the way and he also accompanied us in the tour. Their PE lessons include swimming and it's 80 minutes per lesson :D OHYES I can finally learn swimming already hahaha. I think I'm gonna love PE in JC. When the tour guide showed us to where sometimes volleyball trainings are held, I was like shockz. Because it's outdoors and looks quite old.
Lastly, we went to NJC when it was like 5.45pm or something. Man it was so dead there. It was so damn sian, especially after looking at those JC2 students mugging at the canteen when it's only like the third day of school. So the rumours saying that NJC students having no life is true, very very true. I only realised that NJC has little sports CCAs. So I was thinking like many sports CCAs were disbanded because of the NJC muggers neglecting their CCAs and mugged whole day. Then they lost many competitions so their school decided that it's time to strike off the CCAs. Sounds logical right? But that was just my assumption, no offence. We walked around a small part of the campus and went out after around 15mins, really bored.
I have come to a conclusion that ACJC shall be my first choice and SAJC be my second choice. The tentative order will be as such:
ACJC(S)
ACJC(A)
SAJC(S)
SAJC(A)
AJC(S)
AJC(A)
Haha I only put 3 JCs because if I cannot get into ACJC, I confirm still can get into SAJC's science stream :D. The rest of the 6 choices shall be Poly courses. Anyway I put for shuang only, as if I won't be able to get into one of the 6 JC choices haha. I will still appeal to ACJC if I suaysuay get into SAJC
I shall go le. Bye!
